The Brief

Norsemen Shopfitting & Interiors is a shopfitting contractor in Oadby, Leicester, with its own joinery workshop. Where most shopfitters manage the job and subcontract the making, Norsemen build and fit everything themselves. They have been main contractor to Holland & Barrett and Central England Co-op on multi-year programmes.

When they came to Smart Tribe Digital, they had the track record but not the online presence to match, and a logo that said Norsemen but not what Norsemen do. The retail groups and property teams they wanted to win rarely shortlist a contractor without a website. They also had workshop capacity for local home furniture work, and roles to fill.

Their main goals were:

  • A brand that says what they do at a glance
  • A website that earns the trust of retail groups and property teams
  • More local enquiries for media walls, fitted wardrobes and fitted furniture
  • Applications from skilled joiners and fitters

What we delivered

Rebrand + Brand Guide

We rebuilt the brand around the full trading name, Norsemen Shopfitting & Interiors, so anyone can tell what the business does at a glance. The name means North Man, and the identity draws lightly on Norse heritage: strength, craftsmanship and reliability.

A palette of Norse Forest green, Walnut and Rustic Copper carries it from the logo to the website. We handed over the full logo set and a brand guide covering colour, typography and clear space.

Website Design, Copy + Build

We designed, wrote and built a 13-page WordPress site in Elementor for two very different readers. One is a project manager checking whether a contractor can deliver. The other is a Leicester homeowner who wants to see finished work and get a price.

The navigation splits commercial shopfitting from home furniture, so each visitor lands on pages written for them. The copy leads with what sets Norsemen apart: most shopfitters manage the job, Norsemen make it.

The site includes:

  • A projects library filtered by retail, leisure and domestic work, with a before and after slider on each project
  • A plain-English guide to the five levels of shop refit, from a refresh over a few nights to a full refit, which competitors rarely publish
  • A quote form that accepts drawings and photos, so commercial enquiries arrive ready to price
  • A careers page with four roles and CV upload, built to help them recruit
  • Five launch articles answering real buyer questions, from media wall costs in Leicester to choosing a contractor for a multi-site rollout

The result: a contractor that looks as established online as it is on site, with one website working for both sides of the business.

What The Client Had To Say

Jola has created a fantastic website for my business, the whole process was easy and seamless. Jola took care of everything and all the little details after too. Explained everything in terms I understand and taught me how to continue to use/update the site as time goes by. Highly recommend!!
